The NACM Board of Directors Needs You!

Every year NACM seeks well-qualified and eager candidates for available Officer and Director positions on the Board.  This year the Nominations Committee received several applications for the positions of President Elect, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Clerk of Court Director, Urban Director, and Limited Jurisdiction Director.  Thank you to all of the candidates who have stepped forward to serve our Association!  

Prior to the June 7 application deadline, however, no applications were received for the Rural Director position.  The NACM Bylaws, Article VI, Section 1, defines a Rural Director as a "member working in a court serving a population area less than 100,000 people."  For this reason, the application deadline solely for the position of Rural Director is extended to 5:00pm ET, July 5, 2013.  Declaration of Candidacy forms are available online, and due to the brief application period, the Nominations Committee encourages all qualified members to email their application and resume to Lorie Gomez, lgomez@ncsc.org, as soon as possible.
