NACM members benefit from a variety of scholarship opportunities!

The Edward C. Gallas Award is given in honor of Ed Gallas, a court-management pioneer. Gallas became the first executive officer of the Los Angeles Superior Court in 1958 at a time in which the profession of court management was nonexistent. Gallas, along with his wife of 66 years, Nesta, and Ernest Friesen, authored a seminal book titled “Managing the Courts” that made a significant contribution to the founding and development of the now prestigious profession.

The Edward C. Gallas Award will be awarded for tuition assistance to one NACM member towards Distance Learning, Residential, Court Project and/or Presentation and Graduation Phases of the ICM Fellows Program. Only those who have been admitted to the ICM Fellows Program are eligible to apply.

See the attached flyer for more information on eligibility, how to apply, and the review process.
