Happy Holidays to all on behalf of NACM and the Core Committee
12/20/2018Nomination of Candidate for 2019 Board of Directors
01/25/2019We look forward to seeing many of you at our Midyear Conference in beautiful Little Rock, Arkansas. Our Conference Development Committee and Board have put together an exceptional educational program supplemented by a variety of networking opportunities with national and international attendees. You will be inspired by our exceptional speakers though a variety of educational sessions that best meet your court’s needs – whether its leadership strategies, procedural fairness, technology solutions, or the court’s response to opioids. Attendees can focus on professional development through NACM’s Core® sessions and can join the conversation in one of three Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) about the court’s role in civics education, addressing the needs of those with disabilities, and NACM’s 2020-2022 Strategic Plan. Plan to visit our sold out Exhibit Hall and see the latest products to enhance your court. Check out the Conference Agenda for more details.
This January marked the release of our latest ePublication. The National Association for Court Management’s (NACM) Board of Directors and members of the Guide Subcommittee were pleased to announce publication of the 2019 Plain Language Guide. We think you will find that this guide will serve as an invaluable resource for improving access to justice in your court. NACM members can download a free copy in the NACM Bookstore and nonmembers may purchase for $10.
Planning is well underway for our Annual Conference which will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Bellagio Hotel, July 21-25, 2019. Conference registration will be open shortly after our Midyear conference. The conference theme, Court and Society: Creating Public Trust through Engagement and Innovation, is sure to inspire with exceptional educational programming and many opportunities for engagement and networking. We hope to see you there!
