The CORE® Champion Program now has seventeen (17) session that qualify for the program that cover eleven (11) of NACM’s thirteen (13) CORE® curriculum. The 2023 annual conference in Tampa, Florida will offer the final sessions needed for members to apply to become a CORE® Champion. Three (3) session at the conference will qualify for the program covering the Budget and Finance, Public Relations, and Court Governance curricula. 

Session videos from prior conferences are posted to the conference page on the website; all qualified sessions can be viewed at a later date for credit. To obtain additional information or the structured response forms please email CORE@nacmnet.org. 

Website Update
The CORE® Committee and Website Committee have been redesigning the CORE® website.  This includes a new page dedicated solely to the CORE® Champion Program.  This dedicated page will provide participants with direct links to all of the videos that qualify and contain the structured response forms along with each video. Enormous thanks to the Website Committee for this collaboration and all who have been working on it!

International Impact of the NACM CORE®

With thanks to NACM Past Presidents Norman Meyer and Janet Cornell, the CORE® was recently used as a basis for an updated, comprehensive Court Administration Manual for the Moldovan courts. The Manual is a product of the USAID-funded Model Court Initiative. With heavy reliance on materials in the model CORE® curricula, along with their own vast experience in court administration, Norman and Janet authored multiple chapters of this Manual.  Bună treabă! (Great job!)

Committee Work 

The NACM CORE® Committee continues to focus on content delivery by enhancing the reach of the CORE® Champion Program and ensuring content remains up-to-date. We are currently working to update “The CORE® in Practice: A Guide to Strengthen Court Professionals through Application, Use, and Implementation” and the “Public Relations” curriculum.
