Speaker #1 – Margaret Darin Hagan – Margaret Hagan is the Executive Director of the Legal Design Lab at Stanford University, as well as lecturer at the Law School and d.school. She is a lawyer, and holds a J.D. from Stanford Law School, a DPhil from Queen’s University Belfast, an MA from Central European University, and an AB from University of Chicago.

Speaker #2 – Fabricio Bittencourt da Cruz – Fabrício Bittencourt da Cruz is a Federal Judge in Brazil and an Associate Professor at the State University of Ponta Grossa, where he teaches graduate and postgraduate courses in Law. He holds a Ph.D. in Law and is a founding member of the International Institute for Justice Excellence (The Hague). Previously, he served as Secretary-General of the Brazilian National Council of Justice. A TEDx speaker on “The New Art of Teaching,” he has led award-winning judicial innovation projects and created specialized training programs in Legal Design and Visual Law for academics, judges, and public officials. His courses equip participants to apply user-centered methodologies —such as Design Thinking, Legal Design, and Visual Law—to enhance judicial systems and legal communication. Fabrício’s work has been featured at international conferences across four continents
